Official kick-off of the FLORES project

On 9–10 June 2026, the FLORES project officially kicked off in Antwerp. The event brought together project partners, members of the steering committee, and representatives from BELSPO for two days of fruitful discussions focused on forest ecophysiology and remote sensing.

A visit to the ICOS Brasschaat station provided an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange knowledge, explore synergies, and discuss future project activities.

The meeting marked an important first step for the consortium, which looks forward to working together to achieve the ambitious scientific goals of the FLORES project.
